Step By Step
The following 6 steps will guide you through the process of building a new duplex, from selection of the most suitable design for your property, to tracking your project during construction.

Every house lot is different, so at early stages we can only quote a base price for the duplex, plus 'site costs'. These costs vary from site to site and from Council to Council.
For a small fee we will conduct a site evaluation, producing a number of documents, such as:
- Contour survey to Australian Height Datum (AHD),
- Soil test report (borehole report),
- Planning Certificate (Section 149),
- Preliminary siting,
- Preliminary stormwater design,
- Preliminary landscape design,
- Schedule of Council fees and contributions.
These documents will let us establish the site-specific cost of construction and offer you a fixed price contract. For the first time the duplex developer is being offered certainty at the early stage of development.
The site evaluation fee varies between Councils and is available upon request.
All the documents that we produce are your property, so you are not 'locked in' into the contract.
